Takatu Lodge & Vineyard

Four luxurious and exclusive suites, each with their own terrace and individual outlook. Each suite has its own Super King bed or 2 King Single beds. All bed linen is of natural fibre, with 100% Egyptian cotton (500-thread) and wool.

Spacious ensuites in each suite include double baths with essentail oils and candles, double wash basins, walk-in showers, heated marble floors and stunning views overlooking the gardens and vines.

Personal enjoyment and business are integrated to offer the best possible service for guests. Heated floors throughout, computer outlets, CD stations in every room and LCD TV on request.

Health, beauty and massage therapy is arranged by request. Yoga mats, organic juices and chocolate, coffee, tea (including organic & herbal), fresh fruit and other provisions are complimentary..

A sumptuous 3 course breakfast is complimentary, using fresh regional and seasonal produce and supporting the ‘slow food’ philosophy.
A wine tasting of our own fine wine is offered during your stay, accompanied with an antipasti dish of home grown, home made or local produce.

Corporate groups and intimate functions are welcome and an extra conference room available.
A petanque court and croquet set is available on site.

A vineyard tour can be arranged by appointment, outlining sustainable viticultural practices used and under vine cultivation. All the major jobs of pruning, lateral thinning, shoot positioning, leaf plucking, bunch thinning, trimming and harvesting are done by hand – hence our dictum Fruit of the Vine, Work of Human Hands.
